Faye & Ryans Love Story

My latest wedding LOVE STORY feature is of Faye and Ryan who got married at St Patricks Church of Ireland in Broughshane with celebrations at the lovely Ross Park Hotel. I have known the couple for quite a few years as I am originally from Broughshane and worked with Ryan for a number of years before I became a photographer full time. I look forward to each and every wedding I photograph but its always nice to be part of one when you know the people personally. I photographed their daughter when born about 5 years ago, then the engagement session and now the wedding itself.

Love Story

From the bride; “We met at the balmoral show when we were skiving off school at age 14 and 15. We shared a train journey home and a Mc cChicken sandwich and were inseparable ever since. We got engaged 5 years ago when a few months after we had our first daughter Miley on portstewart strand at sunset. It was a complete surprise and I didn’t actually awswer Ryan because I just grabbed the ring from the box and put it on. It took quite some time to set a date because in between time we had another baby and I done my nursing degree.

Wedding Plans

Planning the wedding over two years in total. It was a lot of effort whilst juggling everything else – the kids, degree and work, but with a lot of time on Instagram and Pinterest and in loads of wedding magazines, I knew the exact day I wanted. We gathered stuff up gradually over the months leading up to the wedding. I enjoyed making all the little details myself … the invites … Table plan.. Place cards… Our good friend Hollie made our cake her first ever wedding cake and surprised us with rainbow layers inside. The dresses were all from Logan’s … Essence of Australia for me and Kelsey rose for the girls. I fell in love with the dresses for being so different! The wedding was planned around them! Leaf designs done the flowers and decorating. Freefall provided our entertainment and the cars were from Star cars which were stunning.

Favourite Moment

Our favourite moment of the day was the minister announcing that we were husband and wife. The day flew past, I couldn’t believe it was over and I was an emotional wreck. I cried for the last hour of the party continuously lol. Summed up, the day was perfect from start to finish!”

A Note from Me

Can I just say a massive thank you once again for putting your trust into me as your photographer. I had an amazing time photographing your day and I agree that it was perfect from start to finish. I want to wish you Gods richest blessing on you and your children’s lives and hope to see you again in the near future. Your wedding album is going to be stunning.

Stay blessed,
