Christine & Ben's [LOVE STORY] at Larchfield Estate

Christine & Ben's Wedding Photography [LOVE STORY] at Larchfield Estate

It's with great pleasure that I share this blog post to you today. Not only because it's been so long since I have been blogging but also because I have such a stunning wedding to show you. Christine & Ben's wedding took place at Larchfield Estate in August and was a day to remember for all. The sun beamed down all day which meant the ceremony was able to proceed outside, which was pretty awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed photographing this day from start to finish and am very grateful to Christine & Ben for not only putting their trust in me, but for being so accommodating and friendly throughout the whole process.

"Ben and I met through friends following several nights out together. Our story began after our first date on valentines day 2007 when we went ice skating.Last August we went to Tenerife. Ben managed to hide the ring in his suitcase and had a very nervous flight until he saw his suitcase at the other end! I knew nothing... On 10th August we went out for the evening and the sun was beginning to set. We climbed over some rocks and watched this. I was amazed, as it was the first time I had watched the sun setting. I was snapping away taking photos and didn't realise Ben going behind me. He called me and when i turned round he was on one knee and asked me to marry him ๐Ÿ˜Š... We had to move quickly though as the sun was going down and the water was rising! I said yes of course.

As I am a creative person I enjoyed researching and coming up with ideas on how to make our wedding that little bit different. We loved the whole vintage theme so choosing our venue was very important. When we returned from tenerife we visited Larchfield and as soon as we saw it we both fell in love with the setting. It all started there. The staff were very accommodating and made our day very special. Ben and I worked together, planning our entertainment and decorations very carefully. We decided to make and do a lot of things ourselves for example place settings, favours, table plan etc as we wanted to personalise it. Our cake was from Rowan Tree cakes, my dress was from the amazing girls at Marie Me Bridal, ben got his suits from Hire Class ballymena, the harpists were our friends Laura and Niamh and our entertainment, flowers, singer, transport and fantastic photographer ๐Ÿ˜Š was from The Wedding Centre. Our caterers were Janes Kitchen who were spectacular.

We enjoyed every minute of it but couldn't have done it without the help of our families. Everything was perfect and it was the most magical day of our lives. the sunshine made our wedding very magical. It was amazing to be outside, from having our singer Clara, to the harpists, to Janes kitchen for putting on a fantastic spread. I planned a few surprises for Ben i.e the piper and the rugby tree with personalised messages from the ulster rugby team so that was very memorable for Ben. The whole day went like clockwork and we enjoyed every minute. Hearing the laughs, seeing everyone smiling and having the important people in our lives in one room made it very enjoyable.

Thank you once again Steven for your professionalism and for being part of our day. Also thank you for the speedy process of our photos. It made being home from honeymoon that bit easier" Christine & Ben.

Thank you both very much for everything from the hospitality to the kind words. It was a real pleasure! I can wait to see your album. Have a look through the gallery of images and I trust you all enjoy:) Stay blessed, Steven.
