Mr & Mrs Dunlop...

Jaclyn & Sammy, two jet setters, had a travel theme for their big day. From Sammy popping the question in Central Park New York City (how romantic!!!) to having their Pre Wedding Shoot in Paris it was clear that this couple loved to travel the world in style!

Now celebrating their 1 year anniversary we thought we would take a look back at this couples special day...

First we wanted to ask Jaclyn a few questions regarding her Pre Wedidng Shoot in Paris......what a stunning and romantic location...

What was is about Paris that made you choose that location for your pre wedding shoot?
"It's iconic for being a romantic location and with Steven's flexibility to travel mixed with cheap direct flights from Belfast it seemed like a great oppertunity for a once in a lifetime photoshoot in Paris. We also had decided on a travel theme for our wedding so it tied in perfectly with that."

Would you recommend travelling for your Pre Wedding/ Engagment shoot to other couples?
"Yes 100% you will rarely have a private photoshoot done with your partner, if ever again so why not make the most of it and do something special. When you compare the cost with other things you will spend on your Wedding Day its really not that expensive and you will have the photos and memories to cherish long after the Wedding. It also gives you a short break to look forward too with the stress leading up to a wedding it's nice to have some time alone with your fiancé before the big day."

It was an incredible opportunity to travel around Paris and take some once in a lifetime pictures for this fantastic couple! After having such an amazing 24 hours in Paris we couldn't wait to photograph Jaclyn & Sammy's big day!

The Wedding Day...

Some Wedding details:
Dress Designer & Dress shop: Ronald Joyce Victoria Jane collection- Bride at Logan's
Suits: Hire Class Ballymena
Cake Supplier: Heavenly Cakes
Florist: Sally's Florist
Cars: Island Limousine Hire & Bentley supplied by Galgorm

Did you enjoy planning your wedding?
"Yes for the most part. I found some suppliers didn't keep you as informed as you would like so you tend to worry that they have forgotten about you and your order which was rarely the case but as a bride I think you just expect frequent updates. I tried to just enjoy it all and not worry about it as it's meant to be an enjoyable day and there's no point stressing over trying to make it perfect for everyone."

What were you both most excited about leading up to your big day?
"Getting the vows done so it was official and we could relax and enjoy the day."

What was the highlight of your day? Did you have a standout moment?
"We were very impressed with Tim burton from the Galgorm he really went the extra mile to make our day special with his dedication to making things run smoothly along with the extra touches of getting us a private hot tub the next day after the wedding and leaving us a teddy bear with a note in our room which was a nice surprise to end an amazing day."

Do you have any advice for future Bride’s and Grooms?
"Don't stress! Everyone will tell you just to enjoy it all and it really is the best advice! Don't expect constant updates from suppliers you just have to trust that they have done this many times before and they know what they are doing. Don't worry to much about what you should be doing or have done by certain dates compared to other couples, we really are all just winging it and most couples are on the same boat."
